Couple Nickie and Duncan Crosbie are set to open the first micropub in Longridge today, named the ‘Tap & Vent’, located at 4 Towneley Parade.
Speaking of the micropub, Nickie said: “It seems to be the right business and the right time for us.
“Tap & Vent is a true freehouse providing what our customers desire in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where you can come and have a great pint and a good chat.”
Duncan is currently working for Shepherd Neame, Britain’s oldest independent brewery.
The Tap & Vent will have a selection of five rotating cask ales, along with wines, craft beers and ciders with light snacks also available.
The new micropub can be found at 4 Towneley Parade, Longridge, Preston, Lancashire and should be open today from 1pm-9pm.
