A Herefordshire micropub that was devastated by flooding has launched an online appeal with the aim of getting the venue back up and running for the community and beyond.

The Tap House micropub in Ross-On-Wye suffered severe damage back in May 2024 following a torrential downpour which overloaded the main sewer which, owing to poor maintenance caused this to burst onto the street, and eventually depositing all the foul water into the venue. The micropub’s floor, bar, pumps, bar equipment and two bar fridges were all destroyed as a result.

Now the business has launched an online Crowdfunder appeal to try to get the micropub rebuilt and returned to a community watering hole.
