Parker Barras, a commercial property firm has submitted an application to the council requesting to convert a vacant store on Prince Regent Street into Tessides latest micropub.
The application said: “The unit has been used as a shop in past history but has been vacant for many months.
“The exterior of the property will not be affected by the proposal. “Minor internal alterations and modernisation works may be carried out.
“The main frontage of the property will be cleaned up, giving new life to this vacant property.
“The building in its current state is in urgent need of regeneration which would benefit the area as a whole and this proposal should therefore be encouraged.”
Tesside has recently had an influx of micropubs openings and seems to be continuing at a rapid pace.
Parker Barras are currently waiting on the decision of Stockton Council, however, no date has currently been set.
