Tom Beran along with his wife Michelle, have found a location in the city centre that they believe will be a perfect location for a brand new micropub, where an empty retail store currently resides.
The couple are no novices when it comes to pubs, with over 18 years of experience, the couple have run the Coalheavers Arms for almost a decade and have experience in award winning pubs. If the micropub is approved, Tom will continue to run the Coalheavers Arms in Woodston.
Tom said: “We have good relationships with all the local micro breweries, the local CAMRA branch, and know what the real-ale drinker likes to buy.”
He added: “I am very much of the view that the more the merrier when it comes to good pubs. They bring out more beer drinkers and that means more business for everyone.”
Peterborough’s latest watering hole is to be named ‘The Bimble Inn’ if the application is approved and will serve 4-5 ales, wine, real cider along with premium bottles and cans.
