The Little Chester Ale House, located on Chester Green Road in Derby, will serve it’s customers real ale for one final time on Sunday 1st November as the micropub has now been sold.
While this will be the final time serving as a Wentwell Ale House, customers will only have to wait until the Thursday to begin drinking at the establishment when it re-opens as ‘The Brewery Tap’ of the Hartshorns brewery.
The Little Chester Ale House said: “We would like to thank all of our customers for helping to make the pub such a huge success, be they regulars or once-in-a-blue-moon visitors. With your help we have managed to achieve more than we could ever have expected to and we hope you will all continue to support the pub under its new owners.” via their facebook page.
and continued: “Wentwell brewery will continue to produce beer – the funds raised from the sale of the pub will contribute towards further expansion of the brewery and we hope to make our beers available in more and more pubs locally, including The Little Chester.
And don’t forget, you can always pop-in to see us at The Derby Inn in Burton-on-Trent!”
