Dover’s latest micropub, located in what was previously Maxwell’s Amusements Arcade. The pub opened on 19th December 2014, a day after full planning permission was granted by Dover District Council – quite a logistical achievement. The real ales and ciders are served on gravity dispense from a 3 level stillage in a temperature controlled cellar room which has a viewing window in the bar. Coffee, tea, wine and soft drinks are available. Comfortably furnished and carpeted with a mix of high tables / stools, settees / low tables plus wall shelves for vertical drinking. No keg beer, lager, spirits, piped music. No food is available, but snacks from the deli opposite are allowed. Children are not permitted under the terms of the premises licence. Dogs on a lead are allowed.
